All Bookings for Reservations at LCILP Events are accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions
Events and Changes
1.1 “Event” means; conferences, educational seminars, lectures, training workshops and the like organised by London Centre of International Law Practice Limited [LCILP / US]
1.2 LCILP reserves the right to modify the Event content and / or programme as necessary without notice to Reservation holders [YOU].
1.3 LCILP reserves the right to cancel a particular Event with or without notice to YOU due to circumstances beyond its control
2.1 All Bookings are made subject to payment being received in full by US following the date a Booking is made by YOU or which is made on your behalf by someone else [the “Booking Date”].
2.2 By registering for attendance at any LCILP event YOU accept responsibility for the prompt payment for all Bookings made by YOU.
3.1 Full payment for Bookings at a LCILP Event must be received by US and cleared into our account prior to the date of the Event.
3.2 Following receipt of full payment into our account [the “Payment Date”] YOU will be notified in writing at the address entered into the Booking Form that the Booking is confirmed as a ‘Reservation’ for the Event
3.3 If full payment is not received by US within 14 days of the Booking Date, the Booking will be automatically transferred to an ‘Event Waiting List’ until such time as full payment has been received by US [the delayed Payment Date]. The Booking will then be subject to the availability of places at the Event as at the delayed Payment Date and may therefore be subject to cancellation (subject to the below Cancellation terms) at our absolute discretion should a place no longer be available at the Event as at the delayed Payment Date.
4.1 Any cancellation of a Reservation by YOU must be made in writing to the Event Manager at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Failure to do so may result in YOU being charged the full amount.
4.2 Cancellation of a Reservation by YOU up to 14 days prior to the date of the Event [the “Event Date”] is refundable by US subject to the deduction of a 10% administration fee.
4.3 Cancellation of a Reservation by YOU within a period 14 days prior to the Event Date is refundable by US subject to the deduction of a 50% administration fee.
4.4 A Cancellation made by YOU on the Event Date is not refundable by US.
4.5 The substitution of a named Reservation holder by a ‘substitute’ named Reservation holder will be accepted at no extra charge provided that a written request is sent by email to the Event Manager at: email@example.com prior to the date of the Event.
4.6 Non-attendance by YOU (or any ‘substitute’ named Reservation holder previously agreed in writing by US) at the Event due to any reason whatsoever shall constitute a de facto Cancellation on the Event Date and shall therefore be subject to these terms and conditions.
Value Added Tax and Invoice
5 LCILP Events that are subject to VAT are calculated at the appropriate rate as at the Event Date. During the period between the Payment Date and the Event Date all payments made by YOU will be held to your account by US, subject to these terms and conditions. A full settlement VAT invoice will then be sent to YOU following the Event Date.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
6 In completing and submitting a Booking Form to London Centre of International Law Practice Limited you indicate your awareness of and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which upon submission constitute a binding contract between YOU and US.
7.1 The territorial ‘point of sale’ for the purposes of the transaction(s) referred to herein is the United Kingdom and the governing law is that of England and Wales.
7.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall constitute a waiver by YOU or avoidance by US of your statutory or other form of legal rights as may apply within this jurisdiction.
